Elements and Rituals
Included as part of your ceremony package are any of the following beautiful rituals to symbolise your intentions. You can also choose additional elements, or we can create a special custom element that is unique and perfect for your day.
Rose Ceremony
This beautiful ceremony symbolises the joining of two families. There are many ways that this ritual can be included in your wedding or naming ceremony, and many people like to include their mothers in this time-honoured ritual.
Handfasting
An ancient Celtic marriage ritual in which the hands are tied together to symbolise the binding of two lives and it is where the expression ‘tying the knot’ originates. You can also choose a handfasting ceremony as part of your naming ceremony.
Singalong
Inviting the audience to singalong will bring the guests together and get them warmed up for some karaoke later on!It will certainly be a ceremony that nobody will forget!
Unity Sand Ceremony
In this symbolic unity ceremony your coloured sand will be combined to show the strength of your joined lives and your hopes and dreams for the future.
Cocktail ceremony
Not for the faint-hearted this fun cocktail ceremony begins with your choice of spirits and mixers. You might choose ingredients that are sweet, creamy, sour, strong, bubbly – anything that could symbolise your future or take you back to your first date!
Unity Candle Lighting Ceremony
This ceremony would be perfect for symbolically uniting a blended family or the joining of families at a wedding or naming ceremony, bringing light and hope
Wine ceremony*
Wine can represent the richness, sweetness or bitterness of life. This unity ceremony usually takes place after the exchange of rings and vows and embraces your past and present as well as the future together that you will be sharing, as you share the wine.
Plant a tree or pot plant
This unity ceremony is perfect for an outdoor ceremony and it symbolises a couple putting down roots together or the growth of a child . This ceremony can also signify the coming together of two families when there is a blended family.
Ring Warming
This is a lovely element, where your rings are passed amongst your guests and well-wishers for them to hold in their hands whilst making a wish for your future.
Rose Petals
Usually used at naming ceremonies, rose petals are sprinkled on a child's head as the name is given.

Singing Celebrant
Okay, yes, I am a singer as well and have sung at many weddings. If you would like this then I will send you samples, so that you can decide if you want to go ahead. It will certainly surprise your guests!
